Granville Township is one of the twenty-five townships of Licking County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2000 census found 8,994 people in the township, 5,827 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

[編輯]Located in the center of the county, it borders the following townships and city:
- McKean Township - 北
- Newton Township - 北east
- Newark Township - 東
- Newark - 東南
- Union Township - 南
- Harrison Township - 南west corner
- St. Albans Township - 西
- Liberty Township - 北west corner
Several populated places are located in Granville Township:
- Part of the city of Newark, the county seat of Licking County, in the southeast
- The village of Granville, in the east and center
- The census-designated place of Granville South, in the southwest
Name and history
[編輯]Granville Township is named after Granville, Massachusetts.[4] Statewide, the only other Granville Township is located in Mercer County.
政府
[編輯]鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[5],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
