COS-7

COS-7 (亦称ATCC CRL-1651、CV-1 in Origin Simian-7) 是在1980年代初期发现的非洲绿猴肾细胞系,最初是经带有编码野生型T抗原的起始失活突变的猿猴空泡病毒40转染而建立[1][2],具有成纤维细胞样和病毒敏感性的独特特征[1][2]。稳定的细胞系是转运体相互作用研究及体外评价药物候选物的理想模型,其中常用的其中一个宿主细胞系就是COS-7细胞。COS-7细胞也会应用在细胞基因转录的研究及DNA质体转染实验[3],从而分析类固醇生成基因[4]、类固醇受体的功能[5]及类固醇对功能分子的作用[6]。COS-7是源自非类固醇生成器官的非类固醇生成细胞[7][8],然而有研究表明COS-7细胞可将3H-睾酮代谢为3H-雄烯二酮[9]。
